At My Olive Tree, we are pleased to offer you a way to help restore the Holy Land and leave a truly tangible, physical legacy in Israel. While all charitable gifts are a blessing, the gift you provide by sponsoring an olive tree will continue blessing the people of Israel for many years to come.
The olive trees we plant in our groves help create jobs and sustainable sources of income for the Israeli people. This region has long been affected by agricultural turmoil, so your gift is helping us to reclaim the desert and once again turn the Holy Land into a region thriving and teeming with life.
We Care for Our Trees…
There are many other organizations that offer tree sponsorships here in Israel. But unfortunately, many of these organizations do not manage their donor funds wisely, with the money regrettably going elsewhere. My Olive Tree is one of the select few organizations that are committed to being a blessing to the people of Israel. And not only do we actually plant the trees, but we water and care for them until they are established so they will continue to bless Israel for many years to come.
Every single day, we work alongside farmers, soldiers and local citizens to dig holes for our trees and water the young saplings that will eventually produce the olives we use to create our olive oils. Since our founding, we have planted more than 20,000 trees in groves all over Israel, providing ongoing work for these farmers, as well as economic hope to soldiers and citizens in the region.
We believe our work is a way to help fulfill God’s “environmental prophecy.” Consider this passage from Amos 9:
“In that day I will restore David’s fallen shelter; I will repair its broken walls and restore its ruins, and will rebuild it as it used to be, so that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations that bear my name, declares the LORD, who will do these things.”
You have a chance to be a part of fulfilling this prophecy, and to leave a physical legacy behind in the form of an olive tree sponsored in your name. For more information about how you can sponsor a tree here in one of our groves, we encourage you to contact us today at My Olive Tree.
