My Olive Tree is currently working on phase one of our King’s Valley project, part of our overall initiative to reclaim the desert and help make olive trees a prominent feature throughout Israel once again…
The King’s Valley is the area most closely located to Jerusalem where we are currently working, and the projects we are working on there, creating our groves and transforming the land, promise to have a tremendous overall impact on the region.
Jerusalem is quite possibly the most unique city in the entire world, for the sole fact that God chose to make it His place of residence. The whole world battles to bless or curse the city. Scripture continually reminds us of the importance of blessing Israel, and to never forget the city, because “as goes Jerusalem, so goes the whole world.”
Deuteronomy 8:7-8 reads as follows:
For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey.
This is the description of the Holy Land we see in the Old Testament, one that likely would not be applied to the land today. Part of our mission at My Olive Tree is to see this vision of the Holy Land restored.
Restoring the Seven Species of Israel according to this passage, these five trees, and two grains is our mission…
Specifically, to the Kidron Valley between the Temple Mount and the Mount of Olives, and preparing the King’s Valley for the Return of the King Himself. This is a tremendously exciting opportunity, one that not only fulfills biblical prophecy but also allows us to demonstrate God's love and promise by saying to
Jerusalem, “I will not forget you!”
If you are interested in contributing to this, the first phase of our King’s Valley Project, we encourage you to reach out to us at My Olive Tree for more information. There are many ways you can contribute to help make a difference.
