The King’s Oil: Not Just for Ancient Church Leaders

…Our generation has had the chance to witness the restoration of Israel and Jerusalem, and have seen God help return Christians to the Jewish roots of their faith.

At My Olive Tree, we are pleased to be able to offer another tool that helps us to return to our spiritual roots. This is, of course, The King’s Oil, a Holy anointing oil that has been used for thousands of years to break the yokes of bondage and set God’s people apart for His purpose.

This oil has been produced in accordance with the guidelines found in Exodus 30, meaning the oil as it exists today is exactly the same as it was hundreds and hundreds of generations ago. All of its ingredients are harvested in the Holy Land, meaning we are helping contribute to the local economy by creating it in the Holy Land itself.

In the times of Moses and afterward, this oil was used to anoint the leaders of Israel, as well as many of the items found in the Tabernacle. Today, all people have access to this oil, which is a unique link to the ancient history of our faith.

This oil is totally different from most other anointing oils you will find, mostly because of its rich color and gritty texture. These differentiators exist because we closely follow biblical instruction in preparing it. Other anointing oils tend to have a light golden hue because of the way they use the olive oil, but we also add a wide range of the highest quality spices available to us, including myrrh and cinnamon. The scent of this oil, when it is properly made, lingers for days, leaving the anointed person with a constant reminder of their pledge to serving God every single day.

This reminder can be just as important for those of us who have not pledged our lives to priesthood, but wish to commit to serving God every day in our own ways.
