You might be asking, “What is the Land Covenant?” The Land Covenant is a covenant that God made with Israel before the death of Moses and the nation’s entry into the Promised Land.

As Israel endured years of persecution, hardships, and oppression, so did the land. It laid barren for centuries, struggling to produce foliage and fruit in the dusty soil.
Prophecy of the people
Going back to around 585 B.C., when the Jewish nation was living in Babylonian exile, we read the words of the prophet Ezekiel…
“…‘Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again.”’”—Ezekiel 37:21-22
The Jewish nation declared its statehood in May 1948. Israel’s people began returning in waves just as the Bible said. In spite of tension and terrorism in the Middle East, Israel continues to flourish economically, environmentally, and militarily.
Prophecy of the land
If we see this fulfillment, we cannot deny that the fulfillment of the Land Covenant is also at hand.
Ezekiel prophesied over the land and its restoration as well.
“Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, and the valleys, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and My fury, because you have borne the shame of the nations.” Therefore thus says the Lord God: “I have raised My hand in an oath that surely the nations that are around you shall bear their own shame. But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are about to come. For indeed I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown.
“’I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bear young; I will make you inhabited as in former times, and do better for you than at your beginnings. Then you shall know that I am the Lord. Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, My people Israel; they shall take possession of you, and you shall be their inheritance; no more shall you bereave them of children.’“’”—Ezekiel 36:8-12
This image was difficult to envision generations ago, but today the land is growing and producing, and what once laid in ruins is being rebuilt and prospering since Israel’s return.

Fulfillment in full swing
As Israel has returned to the land and celebrates her 70th anniversary this year, God is fulfilling His promise and is blessing His people.
“If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you. Then the Lord your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers. And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.”—Deuteronomy 30:4-6 (emphasis added)
We see evidence of Israel’s resiliency and booming economy expand across the globe, enhancing our country’s growth and bringing safety to our borders through military tech.
Understanding the fulfillment is crucial for prosperity and protection
The United States made an official statement to the world in moving its embassy to Jerusalem. Now we are witnessing other nations, a recent count of potentially 10, considering moving their embassies as well. Tribes and nations are recognizing the blessings of standing with Israel, as well as the curse and danger of not.
“Also the Lord your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you. And you will again obey the voice of the Lord and do all His commandments which I command you today. The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good. For the Lord will again rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”—Deuteronomy 30:7-10
What you need to know…
As we all know, fake news is running rampant through the media. No doubt it’s difficult to know what to believe. As a result, we tend to get sucked into the latest post or news story and base our thoughts and opinions on what someone else stated as fact.
But where do you find your truth? If truth is the truth then it never should change—right? This is why aligning with the unchanging truth of biblical principles and God’s declaration is where we rest while standing firm.
We invite you to stand for truth and alignment. Together, we can be the louder voice—the voice of truth—that God uses to be heard.
“Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.”—Matthew 10:27
