The United States and Israel have always been close allies, and now, as Israel approaches a peak in development and nationhood, our bond is stronger than ever.
President Trump has long been a friend of Israel, and thanks to the guidance of the Evangelical community, Trump has taken a much-needed assertive stance on foreign policy matters to realign both of our nations with continued development and success.
A Promise Even Politicians Will Keep
How often do presidents make promises on the campaign trail that never happen when they take office? The inefficiency of most leaders is said to be a significant factor that causes lack of faith and participation in the electoral system.
But Evangelicals are firm believers who have unshakeable faith, and their involvement in the 2016 elections has had a considerable impact both on America, and the world.
In making up more than a third of the electorate, the Evangelical community has been one of Trump’s key supporters, and his approach to foreign policy is what attracted the 80% of their vote.
President Trump’s recent decision to recognize Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel was in part a political gesture to the Evangelical community, as well as a pragmatic solution towards making peace between Israel and its neighbors.
Ultimately, of course, this is all part of God’s plan to restore Israel.
“…I will raise up the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down,
and repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins,
and rebuild it as in the days of old; that they may possess the remnant of Edom,
and all the Gentiles who are called by My name…”

Evangelicals Are Called to Jerusalem
While President Trump was unable to attend the ceremonial moving of the American embassy to Jerusalem, he has done his part in helping us set in motion God’s plan.
Evangelicals across America have been making plenty of pilgrimages to the Holy City of Jerusalem to fulfill missions with their churches and to represent our country. If you’re ever in the Holy City, be sure to take advantage of all it has to offer for your spiritual health.
- Pray At the Western Wall—
Christ was a regular visitor of the Western Wall—once a part of the sacred Temple where Jews would conduct rituals and study prayer.
Today it is a holy site for all religions and a place where Jews come to pray for both individual requests and the recognition and restoration of the Jewish state. With thousands of visitors each year, it’s no surprise that God has heard and answered their prayers!
- Make a Promise of Hineni—
Be sure to visit Friends of Zion Museum in downtown West Jerusalem, where you can commit yourself to defend God’s chosen people in fulfillment of Hineni, which means “Here I am” in Hebrew.
Making that pledge is one of the ultimate signs of solidarity with God’s chosen people in Israel. They know that the Christian’s promise is more than just words; it is commitment and loyalty. That is why when say we support Israel; we also show it.

God Has Brought the USA and Israel Together
Israel has faced many obstacles in its development, from a harsh desert climate, to being plagued with war and terrorism, and one of the ways God has been protecting Israel is by ensuring that the people of Israel and the United States can work together.
For over half a century, the US has provided funding, as well as a plethora of military technology, to keep the Israeli Defense Forces well equipped to defend its country and now politically.
Today, by taking a stand for Jerusalem, the United States has taken its position for Israel to a whole new level and set a new tone for policymaking in the Middle East.
Believe it or not, Trump supports Israel and is thinking of a sustainable future by developing a lasting relationship with the inevitable winners in the Israeli-Arab conflict.
The Evangelical community has spoken, and our message is loud and clear. We will fulfill the prophecy to restore the Holy Land. Our mission is for peace and prosperity in the Middle East and Israel, and we will support leaders who will take steps in the right direction.
My Olive Tree has been partnering directly with the Israeli government for decades. When Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was the Finance Minister of Israel, he met with Curt Landry to discuss humanitarian aid projects that would help Israel toward becoming more self-sufficient.
In that meeting of the minds, God planted a seed that has since blossomed into My Olive Tree. With over 20,000 olive trees planted in Israel and a goal of over one million, the program has been set in motion God’s will to restore the desert:
“The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them,
and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;
it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice…”—Isaiah 35:1-2

With the 2016 elections behind us, America’s next foreign policy move is in President Trump’s hands, and we trust that he will continue to make bold moves with our best interests at heart. But there is still more work to be done on our part.
